The activation code should work. It should also be wrong entry proof as if you enter the wrong code it will just not accept that. There is no downside to getting a MySteinberg Account, if your computer blows up, gets lost or stolen, or just gets old and you get a new one, your Cubase license will simply be transferred to your new computer via your MySteinberg Account That is what all of the instructions are trying to tell you.

Thanks for the quick reply, Yes I received an email from stienberg with an activation code for the elicenser. I tried to enter the code in elicenser but it didn't work. That's how it works. A code for a code. Follow the breadcrumbs correctly and you get Cubase AI.
